The 2023 Iris Award Gala returns to The Cannery, one the most unique, luxurious and unforgettable venues in New Orleans! This is a time to celebrate and honor our wonderful women out there making history in Film and Television.
ABOUT THE IRIS AWARD
​The Women in Film and Television Louisiana Iris Award honors Women who have made outstanding contributions to the Film Industryand support to the local community. The first Iris Award was given in December 2013 to Professor Mari Kornhauser, Screenwriter and Director,one of the writers of hit show “Treme”, a Film Professor at Louisiana State University, and a director and writer of feature films.
