The Membership Committee maintains membership information and presents new applicants to the board to be voted in. Membership also maintains the WiFT LA contact database and has a presence at all functions and events to welcome guests and provide information about our organization in a continuous effort to recruit new members. The Education Committee produces WiFT-Louisiana's workshops, lectures, and panels that are dedicated to each member's growth, knowledge, and advancement in all positions of our film industry. We believe that it is imperative for our members to learn all that they need to know about their chosen position in film entertainment. Events Krewe

The Programs Committee organizes all the wonderful events, meetings, and our Iris Award Gala hosted by WiFT LA for its members. From the New Orleans Film Festival Panel and Reception, Programs is committed to celebrating and supporting women in film and television with fun events designed to build relationships. Roughly every month we hold an Alice Evening Networking Event where members and special guests are invited to give a brief presentation about their field or current projects.

Sponsorship  Krewe

Chair: Jazzy Ellis

The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for the overall coordination of soliciting sponsorships for activities of WIFT Louisiana. The chair makes monthly committee reports to the board, in coordination with the Treasurer, who documents income and expenses related to sponsors' invoices, and collects funds, provides sponsors’ logos and contact information to the Treasurer, tracks vendor sponsorship payments, and ensures appropriate visibility on the website, at meetings and signature events. Chair also interfaces with Programs to identify sponsors who best fit specific programs and events.

The WIFTI Committee works closely with Women In Film & Television International & WIFT US. WIFT Louisiana served on the Board of WIFTI (2014 to 2018), as the Showcase Producer and Chair the Membership Committee. It sends out and follows up with surveys, maintains the membership database, and coordinates with the WIFTI and WIFTI US Board and other chapters.
