For the last two decades, Pedro Lucero has been a part of the New Orleans film industry,

working behind the scenes, in front of the camera, and carving out any kind of hustle to

get movies made in such a chaotic town.

Getting his start in the theater with Archbishop Rummel High School’s Genesian Players,

Pedro learned quick timing and discovered an acute sense of what makes a scene move.

This taste of acting gave him the fever for creating worlds, challenging norms and

striving to see a multitude of projects get made.

Pedro made the jump to film in the mid 90's when he was offered a spot on a Popeye's

Chicken commercial and has since worked on a number film and television projects.

While pursuing his career in film, Pedro has been the Production

Coordinator/Entertainment Director for multiple establishments for twenty years on

world famous Bourbon Street. He’s seen it all. Go ahead and ask him for some stories.

Pedro has also been an integral part of various film and music festivals across Louisiana,

and even Austin, Texas.

Having written, directed, and produced, Pedro’s work can be seen all across a swath of

outlets including film, television, and the web.

Even though he has been part of major motion features, Pedro enjoys working with Indie

projects. He believes in the integrity of the people and has a love for the heartbeat of

independent filmmaking.

Gisele is an educator, author, screenwriter, producer, director, and activist. She is also the founder of Follow Dreams Productions. Her professional career has been spent educating, inspiring and motivating women to follow their dreams and become self-sufficient. It was that work that led her to her graduate study research and inevitable book More Than Just Sex: It's The Art of the Chase; and her new book When Money Meets Seduction; Inspiring Financial Lessons of Women Who Have Connected with Money and Power. She was the editor of Teen Insight Magazine, as well as a blogger. Much of her writing is centered on social issues that affect women and children. It was that work that led to her receiving the National Association for Family Childcare Leadership Award.

Bianca Siplin is an actress, writer and kids acting coach who aspires to provide more local opportunities for women and children in Film and Television.  She has been performing over 15 years and teaching acting for stage and film for 12 years. Bianca is a proud alumnae of both Miami University and Dillard University. Her most recent television credit is “On Becoming a God in Central Florida,” which will debut on Showtime. Bianca is currently writing new projects for tv and film in hopes of bringing new fresh talent to the screen. “I am excited to be a part of WIFT in this new position. I have seen great talent all around me with lack of opportunities and funding to support local filmmakers. My goal is to bridge that gap, so the artists within all of us can be free to create without the worry of funding.”
